The transfer of items (like for repairing, books are sent outside). Day-to-day operations like issue/ return / stock maintenance with extensive search option
  • Procure Management – A suggestive list of procurement based on the requisition and prioritization based on the member category. Quotation, Vendor Analysis, Order, Receipt, Payment etc.
  • The Library software should be able to correlate with Accounts and Students Information System

 

The software must be very user friendly. It should work on network and must be a multi-user system with secured access control of various levels. There must be very strong user-control and user-management in the software. The data must be stored securely. The user-control should have option to restrict Update/ Delete facility and feature to trace the user, who adds/ edits any data. There must be option to lock data manually or automatically.

The software must be modular with the scope of future enhancement. The software should also be able to prepare detailed reports transportable to Excel/ CSV format for web compatibility.
