Sealed tenders are invited from eligible Govt. / Semi Govt. / Private contractors having adequate experience, capacity and reputation in the field of electrical works .

 

 

  • Name of work Miscellaneous electrical works like panels , wiring , fittings in connection

With south lecture block at 3rd floor of Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya at 33/6/1 ,B.B. Ghosh Sarani , Kol––700067.

 

  • Credentials The contractor must have experience in executing the similar nature of

Works and service tax , P.Tax , Vat registration trade license Proof. Etc.

  • The Project Cost Rupees 2.00 lakhs (approximately )

 

  • Time of Completion 1 month from the date of issue of the letter of acceptance of the tender.
  • Tender forms can be obtained from the office of Sir Gurudas                      Mahavidyalaya at 33/6/1 ,B.B. Ghosh Sarani , Kol––700067 during 11.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M from 11/9/2015 to 19/9/2015 on working days.

The tender is to be submitted in duplicate in sealed Cover at the college office within 19/9/2015 up to 1 P.M at the latest , which will be opened immediately thereafter in the presence of such renderers or their authorized representative as are present.

The owner reserves the right of accepting or rejecting any or all tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

 

                        INSTRUCTION IN REGARD TO SUBMISSION OF TENDER

  1. The Schedule of quantities should be filled in as follows:––
  • The “Rate “ column to be filled in both figures and words .
  • “Amount “column to be filled in for each item and the total amount for each category to be initialed.
  • All corrections to be initialed.
  • Contractor’s signature to be put on each page of the Schedule of quantities and in the “ Abstract Sheet “.

 

  1. In the event of any arithmetical error / errors being discovered in the Contractor’s tender , the rates mentioned in words in the tender marked “ original “ will be taken as bonafide rate in words will be taken in precedence over the figures.
  2. Tenders should note that their tender should remain open for consideration for a minimum period of three months from the date of opening of tenders.
  3. The owners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.
  4. The quantities shown in the bill of quantities are approximate. The rate quoted shall however remain the same in case of any variation of the quantities with titled “Alternative offer “.
  5. All recipients of the documents for the proposed contract for the purpose of submitting a tender ( whether they submit a tender or not ) shall treat the details of the documents as private and confidential . All documents together with drawing must be returned to the owner.
  6. The contractors shall conform to the provisions of the relevant laws, rules , regulations , and orders , for the time being in force , in the execution of his work. In particular he shall keep in view the provisions of the workmen’s minimum wages act. And the contract Labour (Regulation & Ablition act,1972 ) and the rules and regulations there under. The contractor shall submit copies of valid license.
  7. Canvassing in connection with the tender is strictly prohibited and the tender submitted by the contractor who resorts to canvassing will be liable to rejection.
  8. Without prejudice to the tender condition and specifications, contractors are requested to note that non-compliance of the mentioned instructions , their tender documents shall be considered invalid.
  9. The tender form is not transferable.
